Running the Bupa 10K
Running the streets of London! On the 25th May 2009 the Ah.Design lads took part in the annual BUPA London 10,000 to raise money for the Children with Leukaemia charity.
The race was based on the course to be used for the marathon at the 2012 Olympic Games, starting in St. James Park, running past Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament to then follow the River Thames past many of the famous landmarks of the city, it then snaked it’s way round the streets by the Tower of London, to then return back along the river bank, finishing in front of Buckingham Palace on The Mall.
Tony completed the course in 55mins 25secs and Dave finished in 48mins 11secs, we all had a great day out and ran some great times, and even better managed to raise just under £500 for a great charity. Tony is very upset that youth and ability overcame age and treachery!
